Achievement and Success

The ultimate aim of Walton Hall Academy is to engage that every student leaving us has experienced a range of innovative and exciting opportunities and challenges, both educationally and through enrichment. Walton Hall Academy has high expectations and aspirations for every student. Through collaborative work we aim to support our students to at least meet, but where possible, exceed their personal and educational targets and potential.

Enrichment

Walton Hall Academy is located in extensive grounds and has impressive specialist learning environments. We are able to provide a dynamic enrichment programme to complement our focussed educations curriculum.
With the addition of our three residential houses we are in a unique position to develop independent living and social interaction skills via an optional residential.

British Values

It is a statutory duty for schools to promote British Values more actively from September 2014, and to ensure that these values are taught in all schools. At Walton Hall Academy we take our commitment to this duty extremely seriously because we recognise that many of our students could be particularly vulnerable to external influences.

We recognise the multi-cultural, multi-faith and ever-changing nature of the United Kingdom and our role in supporting our students to take their place in this society and especially their local community.

We understand the vital role that our academy has in ensuring that groups or individuals within the academy are not subjected to intimidation or radicalisation by those wishing to unduly, or illegally, to influence our students.

We follow equal opportunities guidance which guarantees that there will be no discrimination against any individual or group, regardless of faith, ability, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, political or financial status, or similar. Walton Hall Academy is dedicated to preparing students for their adult life beyond the formal, accredited curriculum and ensuring that it promotes and reinforces British values to all of our students.
